Gold bullion bars hidden in a wardrobe

I used to dream of becoming a story writer when I was a child. I took part in numerous literary competitions. I even wrote a book when I was fourteen of fifteen years old. It was a crime story, quite immature, and this is probably the reason why I destroyed it a couple of years later. It done by accident, when I found the book in my drawer after a long time and started reading it. I had mixed feelings, to be honest, because it was not very well-written (I was actually laughing at the style) and I also felt somehow embarrassed. I burned the book, which is a pity, because now it would be really interesting to read it. It was about a woman who found a large amount of gold gold price per gram in a wardrobe. She was staying in a hotel in Moscow, and although she was perfectly aware of the fact the gold had been hidden here for a reason, and that it did not belong to her, she took it and disappeared from the hotel to start living a completely new life. She changed her identity, looks and behaviour, and she was absolutely sure nobody would be able to recognise her. However, the bullion bars really belonged to a dangerous criminal who had left them in the hotel for a reason. I don"t remember the plot very well. If only I had thought twice before destroying the book.
